Privacy Policy

Who we are

“BetterQuants” is the editorial brand operating https://www.betterquants.com. Editorial enquiries and data-protection requests can be sent to btorbicki@gmail.com.

What we collect

BetterQuants is a reading site. We do not run third-party analytics, marketing pixels, or behavioural-advertising trackers at the time of writing. Our hosting provider (Plesk on a single dedicated host) writes standard server access logs that include your IP address, user-agent, and the URL you requested. These logs rotate within thirty days and are not joined with any other identifier.

If you submit our contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide and route them to our editorial inbox. We retain those messages only as long as we need them to reply.

WordPress sets a small number of functional cookies if you log into the back-end. Public readers do not receive WordPress cookies unless you leave a comment.

Affiliate cookies

Some outbound links — for example links to books or hardware on Amazon — are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination site (Amazon, the broker, the data vendor) may set cookies on your browser to attribute a future purchase back to us. Those cookies are set by the destination, not by BetterQuants, and they live under the destination’s privacy policy. If you do not want them, you can use private browsing or a tracker-blocking extension; clicking through still works, we just receive no commission.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, the UK, or another jurisdiction with comparable data-protection law, you have the right to request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, the right to ask us to correct or erase it, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Email btorbicki@gmail.com and we will reply within thirty days.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if we add an analytics tool, a comments system, or anything else that materially changes how we handle data. The “last updated” date above will reflect the change.
